Dear Chelsea Elementary School community,
It is hard to believe that the end of the school year is approaching so quickly.
The Spring Fling was a great evening and highlighted our amazing community and the dedication of staff and parents. An enormous thank you to the Home and School Association for organizing this event and the many spirit events and fundraising throughout the year!
Diversity, Belonging and Representation: these are the three words explored and illustrated in the new mural painted in the grand hall. Two artists, Jimmy Baptist and Stephanie Babij, worked with students to explore and capture these themes. The mural brightens and energizes our school space and we are appreciative of the experience these artists shared with our students. See below for some pictures of the art!
As always, June is going to be a busy month with end of year trips and activities! Please review the Upcoming events section, the calendar, and check your child’s backpack daily for forms and notices!
The value for the month of June is perseverance. When our children are faced with challenges, we want them equipped with skills and attitudes that will help them persist. Please join school staff as we explore the power of perseverance!
Class lists for next school year will be established shortly. Parents are able to send specific requests that they would like considered by June 20th. Please reserve requests for unique situations that you feel will have a significant impact on your child’s experience. Requests can be emailed to andreagage@wqsb.qc.ca; I cannot guarantee that all requests will be possible.
It is privilege to work with your children. I wish you a wonderful month of June and a safe and happy summer!
